Application of Matomo
On our website we have integrated the component Matomo. Matomo is an open source software tool for web analysis. Among other things, a web analysis tool collects data about which website a visitor came to a website from (so-called referrer), which subpages of the website were accessed or how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. The use of Matomo serves the purpose of analyzing the flow of visitors to our website. The data and information obtained is used by us to evaluate the use of our website and to compile online reports that show the activities on our website.
The software is operated on the server of Emil Schmid Maschinenbau. The log files which are sensitive to data protection laws are stored exclusively on this server.
Matomo uses a cookie, by means of which personal information, for example the access time, the place from which an access originated and the frequency of visits to our website are stored. Whenever you visit our website, this personal data, including the IP address of the Internet connection used by the person concerned, is transferred to our server. This personal data is stored by us. We do not pass on this personal data to third parties.
The person concerned can prevent the setting of cookies by our website, as described above, at any time by means of a corresponding setting in the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Furthermore, the person concerned has the possibility to object to the collection of data generated by Matomo and related to the use of this website and to prevent such collection. For this purpose the person concerned must set "Do Not Track" in his browser. However, these settings can restrict the scope of use of the website.
Furthermore, a cookie already set by Matomo can be deleted at any time via an internet browser or other software programs.
Further information and the applicable Matomo data protection regulations can be found at https://matomo.org/privacy/.
