E-Drive Powertrain

Based on our roots, we have developed targeted benchmarks in E-Drive Powertrain and implemented numerous hybrid module assembly lines, rotor (permanently excited) assembly lines, stator assembly lines, electric motor lines and battery final assembly (high-voltage storage).

BATTERY ASSEMBLY

The battery is one of the core elements of tomorrow's mobility. A powerful battery system, module assembly, final assembly, control unit and power electronics are created from individual cells in several process stages.

ROTOR ASSEMBLY

Rotors (externally and self-energised) with different "stacks" and numbers can be joined, mounted, sprayed and magnetised on the flexible lines of EMIL SCHMID MASCHINENBAU. High-tech in process and automation.

STATOR PRODUCTION

EMIL SCHMID MASCHINENBAU and SCHMID E-MOTIVE utilise the latest technologies in the manufacturing of stators. Benefit from our know-how as a strategic partner for the production of your electric drive

FINAL ASSEMBLY E-MOTOR

The basic electric motor is created from the rotor and stator, which, together with the ancillary units, becomes a drive module that can be installed. Inverter, cooling and sensors complete the basic engine to a functional engine, which is then also tested in our lines.

FUEL CELL

Here EMIL SCHMID MASCHINENBAU is a reliable development partner for future assembly processes. In the manufacture/assembly of this energy conversion cell, cycle times of 0.5 to 30 seconds are combined in order to achieve normal production output.
